"SEVERE RESTORATION SAMPLE"
This photo had complex foreground and background elements missing which required reconstruction. Since the granddaughter didn't have another photo of him to use in reconstructing his face it had to be done from scratch. Age had caused significant fading and yellowing. There were many deep scratches and creases. Parts of the background and complex foreground elements were missing.
Extensive restoration requiring color and pixel replacement, airbrushing, scratch repair, fade correction, and reconstruction of missing elements went into this photo to achieve the finished AFTER image on the right.
