She was apparently accidently caught by the camera, as she is on the photo's edge rather than being the subject of the photo. The grandson wanted her to be made complete and placed in a photo of her own, as this was his only photo of his grandmother.
The before photo was a small snapshot. After extensive restoration the finished photo on the right is now 8" x 10" printable quality.
